Xining - 80306 Unit / 6 Division

This facility is headquarters for one of the six Divisions of the Second Artillery Corps. The 80306 Unit, headquartered in Xining, Qinghai province, has three brigades, including one potential experimental regiment, concentrated in the Datong, Delingha, and Da Qaidam areas. Indications exist that the 80306 Unit may upgrade to the DF-21. The 80306 Unit is able to target sites in the former Soviet Union and India.75
