SUBJECT: Phase III Modernization and Integration

1. PURPOSE: Provide information on the SWPS Phase III modernization and integration

2. KEY POINTS: The following bullets represent the key points of the briefing.

- Provide background and overview of SWPS

-- Show facts and figures about SWPS look and size and then identify where SWPS fits in at USSTRATCOM and into the Strategic Vision of the command.

-- Identify the Strategic Planning Study as the foundation for the current modernization effort, how SWPS is currently organized to include the program management structure and Integrated Product Teams, and how that structure blends in with the functional process flow of the customer

- Identify benefits of the program

-- Defines the overall and specific goals of modernization for the different Activities

- Define current status

-- Defines the three phase approach to SWPS modernization and the current status complete with Activity level schedule.

-- Provides additional information on the Phase III goals, the factors considered for planning implementation, and the transition environments.
