This is the process used to develop and integrate the Operational architecture products.

From Identified mission functions and the NORAD/USSPACECOM organization structure functional units are identified. An information flow diagram (IFD) is developed and reviewed for validity and consistent level of abstraction. The IFD development is a iterative process until the IFD is validated at the appropriate level of abstraction. The nodes, information exchange requirements and use cases are identified form the IFD.

The next three slides are examples of IFDs that we have drawn. We will put the IFDs in the reading room.
