Yaroslavsky Shipbuilding Plant

Korabelnaya St., Yaroslavl,
150006, Russia
The Yaroslavsky Shipbuilding Plant JSC, founded in 1920, builds various classes of ships of previous generations that are time-tested and proven in operation and are selling well on the market. These ships are: Project 745 patrol ships, Yastreb and Merkury sea-going boats, Project 503M fishing craft and their modifications, and Project 14891 riverine tankers. In 1986, the plant launched production of Project 10410 patrol ships and between 1990 and 1994 Russia's border guard units received six vessels. In the early 1990s, this design bureau developed the Ikar project (14231) - the basic model for subsequent modifications to the requirements of the Navy, sea border guards, customs service, sea economic zone protection agencies, and ecology control agencies. In 1997, the plant became the base facility for Russia's Federal Border Guard Service (FBGS) and at that same time the plant's management decided to revive the construction of Project 10410 patrol vessel.
