Test Area B

This image apparently depicts the above-ground infrastructure for a low-yield underground test. The low fence encircling the complex is suggestive of a radiological safety exclusion zone, while the central structure is suggestive of diagnostics positioned above a vertical shaft. This test area includes several pronounced vegetation features, as well as a sharply defined curving pathway, that should assist in identication of this location in satellite imagery. In marked contrast to the "Test Area D" image there is a complete lack of surface disturbance or subsidence associated with an underground detonation.
