Bani Suwayf

It is reported that among the plants for the manufacture of chemical weapons are a plant in Bani-Suwayf (adjacent to the Egyptian air base there). Bani Suwayf [Beni Suef] is one of 27 governorates [muhafazah], which are the primary administrative subdivision in Egypt, which is governed from the city of the same name. There are a total of four chemical industry establishments in the governate, and one two-star hotel.
