9th Submarine Fleet
China's Xia-class (Type 092) SSBN submarines, deployed with the Northern Fleet, are assigned to the 9th Submarine Fleet under the direct jurisdiction of Headquarters, People's Liberation Navy (PLN). In wartime, SSBN assets would come under the direct control of the Central Military Commission.
