The Chemical Weapons Convention has the strong support of the chemical
industry which provided advice to the Reagan and Bush Administrations
on the provisions affecting industry. Statements from small and large
 businesses include:
“ ... it is 100% incorrect when it was said in
floor debate that NFIB opposes the convention. It is now our belief
our members are not going to be impacted.”

sales ... If the U.S. does not act, we stand to lose hundreds of
millions in overseas sales, putting at risk thousands of good-paying
American jobs.”
